When Devotion a Story of Love and Desire first hit the airwaves, it immediately became one of my favorite shows on television. Now that season 2 has finally aired, I am still completely captivated by the series’ characters and storylines, despite some troubling flaws in the writing. I’ll discuss these in detail later in this Devotion TV series review. But first, let’s take a look at what this show does right, especially when it comes to its strong cast of characters…
The Devotion a Story of Love and Desire tv series is about a young woman named Lily who is trying to find her way in the world. She falls in love with a man named James, but he is already married. Lily must decide whether to pursue her feelings or stay true to her convictions. The show is set in New York City and explores the theme of love and desire. It also deals with themes like racism, prejudice, feminism, feminism, and homosexuality. There are some explicit sexual scenes that might not be appropriate for all audiences.
What worked for me in the series
I really enjoyed the acting, directing, and writing. I also loved the cinematography and production design. The series was a great mix of drama, romance, and comedy. I felt that there was not enough on-screen sex to keep me interested. I also found the pace slow at times because it would focus on certain minor details rather than moving things along.
I found Devotion a Story of Love and Desire to be an interesting exploration of love and desire. The plot was interesting, and the characters were well-developed. I would recommend this show to anyone looking for a thought-provoking drama.
