Synopsis

I recently saw Thiruchitrambalam, which I highly recommend! Although it is already available on DVD, it is currently playing in theatres, so if you haven’t seen it yet, go see it! It’s a great movie from beginning to end. I don’t want to give anything away about the plot, but there will be plenty of drama, romance, suspense, and action! You will not be let down!

Thiruchitrambalam 2022 – A Must-Watch Tamil Movie

Thiruchitrambalam is a Tamil action film starring Ajith Kumar, directed by Gaurav Issar. It is slated to release on 7 September 2020. This film follows the life of Kamalesh Sivaram (Ajith), who dons the mantle of Thiru.

He fights against injustice and takes revenge for his mother’s death in the hands of an unknown assailant. He tries to find out what happened to his mother while also working with other like-minded people who are going through similar experiences.

What to Expect From This Film

This is a story about how a child is the only hope for saving the future of India. This film depicts the journey of a fifteen year old boy and his faith, his dreams and what he does to get back to those moments that mean everything to him.

This film showcases various issues like religious conversions, caste supremacy and also has an emotional backdrop which every parent would love to watch their children go through with confidence.

The Good

A must watch Tamil movie and one of the best movies of all time is Thiruchitrambalam. It is a comedy flick which has been directed by Dhayanidhi Stalin and jointly produced by his father, M. Karunanidhi, who happens to be one of the most iconic figures in South Indian politics. The screenplay is written by Suresh Kumar with Sathyasiva being responsible for the cinematography.

The Bad

There were few annoyances in the movie, the screenplay was not too great, but you need to go and watch this movie.

The trailer of the movie looked amazing and I couldn’t wait to see it. It turned out to be a mixed bag of good and bad reviews, which was confusing. Thankfully I wasn’t disappointed at all. The screenplay was actually pretty decent if you look past the obvious flaws and there’s no denying that this is an emotional story which makes it worth watching!

Do I Recommend Watching it?

I have watched a number of movies and most of them I do not recommend. This was one movie I would highly recommend! The story revolves around a village named Thiruchitrambalam where ghosts rule the lives of people who live there. The plot is very different from what we usually see in Indian movies, as it focuses on romance and drama rather than portraying social messages or highlighting atrocities on any particular section of society.

Final Thoughts

One of the most powerful weapons of Thiruchi Tharumagan is their ability to manipulate the minds of their audience. Throughout the movie, they succeed in driving away the fears and doubts that our protagonist would have had. Even towards the end, when everything seems lost, they manage to get a smile out of you with a cheerful ‘Aaha’. It is no wonder that this film became one of the highest grossing films in India just as soon as it was released.
